Happy 151st anniversary to America’s Best Idea and the world’s first National Park! There is no other National Park, or frankly, place on Earth, like Yellowstone. Yellowstone is where you can see the Earth truly alive and in motion. Steam and mud belch from the ground. Water erupts… #FindYourPark

Incredible, sensitive, scientifically informed reporting from a local paper in St. Louis, saying what we all expected: Parents whose children were treated at the Transgender Center completely contradict the account of a self-described whistleblower, explaining a slow, methodical proccess for treating trans youth in their care.

I'm writing Voces de la Frontera to reach Democratic-leaning minority voters (largely Black & Hispanic households) for the upcoming Wisconsin Spring election.

If you're interested in writing with us, let me know, and I can share more details over DM. (we're a manual operation at this point, and I'm trying to save our team from spam requests)

We have addresses for the Supreme Court election (Judge Janet Protasiewicz) - including some that need to be written in Spanish. We're trying to shorten the current Spanish language messaging and hope to have that ready in early March.

We also have a few addresses left for the Wisconsin State Senate race, supporting Jodi Habush Sinykin. (if she wins, this would be a seat flip and would keep the GOP from having a 2/3 supermajority in the gerrymandered State Senate)

Write with me!

Great! I will send you a DM since we're a manual operation and don't want to get spammers involved. 😊

@erikalyn
I know it's not for everyone! With 2 young kiddos, I'm not usually free until after it's rude-o-clock for phone banking (or even texting), but I can write postcards whenever, so it works great for me!

Thanks for the support, and feel free to spread the message if you have friends who'd want to participate!

People who do - I'm working with some Wisconsin based groups to write postcards for the April election. Writing in advance with plans to hold mailing until mid March. (postcard I sent for yesterday's primaries attached, for a visual)

If you're interested in joining me to write these postcards, give a shout, and I can share the details!

Sending off 10 more for Patricia Lawton (). Her special election for State Senate is on January 31.

Please join me in writing fun, friendly postcards! Text JOIN to 484-275-2229 or email Join@tonythedemocrat.org to sign up.

Periodic reminder that #Wisconsin fails to meet even the most basic criteria of what it means to be a #democracy, given the voter suppression, the egregious #gerrymandering that makes a mockery of voting equality, the absurd 12-4 committee splits in the legislature, & the unprecedented nullification of Tony #Evers' governance. This spring's #SCOWIS election is a chance to start changing that, so we no longer live under subnational competitive #authoritarianism:

@joe
Sounds about right. I try to get back to that area every now and again (3 Sheeps is among my favorite breweries in the state, and I love taking my kids to Bookworm Gardens), but commuter rail would have been a great option - and will be for hopefully the future.

@joe
I used to live & work in Sheboygan. 5 years later, I still felt like an "outsider," so I moved to a different part of the state.

Now, I get to WFH, which is great. But I would love to see train service expanded across Wisconsin. I love taking the train from MKE Airport into Chicago, and it would be great to travel more of the state that way!
