Hi everybody! Here's a FORRT #introduction
We are the Framework for Open and Reproducible Research Training (forrt.org), an interdisciplinary international community of 600+ early career scholars aiming to integrate #OpenScholarship (#OpenScience) into higher education and advance research #transparency, #reproducibility, #rigor, and #ethics through #pedagogical reform. #FORRT also advocates for diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and social justice in Open Scholarship.

Just wondering – are public Mastodon mentions of #academic journal articles counted towards the #Altmetric score, like they are on other social networks? #academics #sciencedon

The SIPS grants-in-aid program is back! These provide up to $2,500 USD for projects to reduce barriers to improving psychological science.

We encourage and will give preference to fund projects led by scholars who: are members of underrepresented groups, are in training, earned their doctoral degree within the last 7 years, are working in circumstances where research/support is challenging/limited, and are outside Canada/Europe/USA.

Deadline is 15 January 2023.

My only other cross post, because it's important to me:

I started as the president of the Society for the Improvement of Psychological Science on November 1! I am excited about 2023. My goals: bring more people from a wider range of backgrounds to the SIPS table, & highlight education as an important (and often overlooked) component of the open science movement. If you have ideas on how to achieve these (or other) goals, feel free to reach out. #OpenScience #Psychology
