Meet Athena
She was the only available adoptable kitten at the shelter the day we went.
The shelter said that she did not like people and the shelter photo seems to prove that.
I reached my hand into the cage and she immediately snuggled into it and started purring.
I was hooked and she came home with me.
Her progression and loving disposition was instant and satisfying.
I honestly didn't even realize that cats could "smile" like that. 🤣

@starkraving666 Agreed. I never saw the picture until after we adopted her, but she definitely did not appear to be happy in the situation. She is happy now. All settled in and normally naps beside me all day while I work then plays at night as most kittens do whether or not its #caturday.
