Great post from The Fediverse Report about Bluesky complying with requests from the Turkish government and how a labeling service can be used to hide accounts:

"Such a moderation layer allows Bluesky (the app) to apply moderation decisions that are only experienced by people currently geolocated in a specific country, more on that below. A few days ago, the Turkish moderation labeler became active, and the labeler started hiding accounts, making the accounts invisible for people in Turkey."

Just as an aside, in my 46 years of using public toilets I have never seen anyone else's genitals.
You'd have to really put the effort in to see someone else's bits. You'd have to be peering under the door or over the top of the stall or through the door gap. You'd have to TRY.
Which is how I know all the people who are convinced they'll see a penis in the women's toilets are gross little freaks.

The “shot heard round the world” refers to when the colonial revolutionaries in Lexington engaged the British regulars marching on Concord (my home town). Minutemen from towns all around the area gathered on the grounds of the Buttrick estate to defend the town of Concord, and the battle at the Old North Bridge resulted in a rout of the monarchist soldiers, with the patriots chasing them out of town in one of the first guerilla defense operations the mighty British army had ever encountered.

April 19 could be an auspicious day to start a popular uprising to defend our nation from fascists and monarchists.

When you see innocent people being sent to a hell hole concentration camp in El Salvador, you are horrified.

But the thing that most people in the USA still don't want to reckon with, is that *more than half* of the white people in the USA see the same exact images, *and like it*.

They love it.
