It’s worth remembering how Joseph McCarthy’s influence was completely undone in the 36 day televised Army - McCarthy hearings in 1954.

He was shown for the bully, completely lacking in evidence to support his case that he was.

#McCarthy died of alcoholism just 3yrs later.
