I find it odd that many people will count calories, exercise, or adopt diets to improve their health, but they refuse to wear a mask. Given what is known about the acute and chronic risks of #COVID19, I can't imagine an easier change with a greater impact on short- and long-term health than wearing a mask in crowds--concerts, conferences, mass transit, etc. Why go to effort to extend your life at the end and ignore the significant risk of acute illness or disability this year?

When I think about why we are slow walking the weapons Ukraine needs to stop Putin's murder, It's the same politics that allows us to tolerate multiple mass shootings every year to include the murder of school kids.

Honestly, it don't matter what Desantis bans. They never taught us the truth at any point in THEIR schools anyway. Fuck his bans.

It's your responsibility to build the library your kids need in your house. Buy your own books. We know our history and don't require their approval to teach OR learn it. You don't have to force it on the young. Just put it there. Their curiosity will win out.
