The thing about #BlackHistoryMonth is it’s a lot of labor to educate people on what they’re missing out

by not respecting Black culture, history, scientific contributions and the like.

But doing the labor as. Black personal also invites that disrespect. It’s everyone’s work.

When mostly Black people do it you get anti-CRT campaigns designed to test whether they can get white people to ignore fascism.

Then it spreads.

The men who can't hit the toilet when taking a piss are the same men who think they're qualified to carry hand guns and AR-15s.

This isn’t so cheerful but, I get a lot of people coming to me for help and mentorship in getting into professional malware reversing as a DFIR person* because nobody else would help or talk to them them at all, and it unfortunately highlights how opaque that profession can be and how few people in it are willing to help the next generation make it through the door - with some notable exceptions like @malwaretech
