I have been hearing reports that #Kazakhstan has seized #Roscosmos assets at #Baikonur #cosmodrome The only thing confirmed is the seizure. We don't know how much. Was the whole thing seized, or just buildings.

Baikonur belongs to Kazakhstan. It is leased to #russia who apparently has not been paying their bills.

This is huge. Baikonur is Russia's only spaceport. If they lose it, the blow will be huge.

Who are Twitter's "high value customers"? Advertisers.

What advertisers want is a better advertising system.

They don't give a damn about decentralized social media because there's no centralized system that feeds people ads. Mastodon can't help them.

Predictably, #SVB has been sued for fraud by the shareholders. This banking crisis is handled differently from the 2007 one: there’s no bailout for the shareholders or execs, just guarantees to the depositors. Sounds more fair to me!
