Snopes felt the need to say that since there is no physical proof that Trump said, "I need the kind of generals that Hitler had" that it is an unproven allegation.

In this excerpt from Brian Stelter's newsletter he says, "Media critics who double as Donald Trump critics say they are seeing it [anticipatory obedience] happen now - in big and little ways — in news coverage and corporate decision-making."

If only Trump critics can see that is happening, apparently observations about media coverage are contingent upon one's political party affiliation that seems like to me.
