Though, the rover cannot be seen for two reasons:

• This is low tech time travel so the traveler can only exist in one place at a time. The image was captured by a younger Perseverance at noon of Aug. 23, 2021, Sol 181, RMC 7.0000

• 10km is too far a distance to be able to see a future rover with a 34mm lens.

But one can imagine it 😃

I don't think it's possible to undersell exactly what just happened. A handsome, white, upper-middle class man from the Midwest, with an ivy league education and chronic debilitating pain just, without help from anyone else, 3D printed a ghost gun and a silencer at home and used it to execute a wall street CEO.

This murder completely robbed MAGA of all their previous excuses. This wasn't feminism. It wasn't immigrants. It wasn't brown or black people. It wasn't a trans person. It wasn't a left coast elitist. It wasn't mental illness. It wasn't a blue-haired leftist. It wasn't Marxism. It wasn't communism.

This was the consequence of two previously unrelated right wing mechanisms suddenly coming together: the Venn diagram of unregulated healthcare and unregulated guns. This is the MAGA deregulation machine attacking itself. And they are completely unprepared for it.

Prior to the US occupation, Hawaii had the world's highest literacy rate, surpassing the US and Europe. We spoke Hawaiian, English, and instructed in our native tongue. After the US invasion, the language was banned in 1896 in schools and we were made to view it as a 'shameful'.

One thing I like about BlueSky is that one post that becomes "popular" can garner my account almost a hundred new followers who might help spread my #ClimateAction posts.

It probably took me two years on #Mastodon to get my first 1,000 followers, but I still like it better here don't at all get me wrong.
