The Working class is waking up. If we vote for Bird Brain Trump, it almost has no impact on anything because our votea are so few in proportion to all the votes cast. What incentive do we really have to get that vote? What sometimes happens in politics is that the social incentives are bigger than the incentives to get it right. This Christmas Eve, let us remember that it wasn’t the CEOs and billionaires who saved us during COVID-19. It was the janitors, nurses, cleaning crews, grocery and food workers with their hard, often invisible labor.

There must be a better way to remove cat hair from a washing machine after washing pet blankets, other than running a dark fabrics wash immediately afterwards.
I did put them all though a cold drier for 20 minutes, hoping to get rid of it. But.. no. Some still remains.

I'm not Christian, I'm Mathematician, but I love Xmas, Ymas and Zmas. I'm giving a talk on the math of tuning systems and I thought I'd share it here as a kind of present to y'all.

I'll start with the basics today and do the more advanced part tomorrow. But I hope even the basics contain a few twists that not everyone knows.

When an entire class of technology states on the packaging that it was made in China but intended "for overseas use only," this should really give you pause before plugging it into your network.

You will find this verbiage on a lot of Android TV streaming boxes for sale at the major retailers. There's a very good reason the country that makes this crap doesn't want it on their own networks. My advice: If you have one of these Android streaming boxes on your network or get one as a gift, toss it in the trash. Bloomberg reports that Russia plans to push for major changes to the current US‑Ukraine 20‑point peace plan, seeking more restrictions on Ukraine’s military and other concessions Moscow views as essential. Kremlin sources say Russia sees the draft as just a starting point because it lacks key provisions Moscow wants and leaves many questions unresolved.
