I do not recommend looking into the end of fiber optic cables, even accidentally, i've done it like 3 times by accident and ugh yeah, no thanks.

@lethalbit As someone who regularly works with fiber to put beer in the fridge, I also do not recommend looking into the end of the fiber. some of the optics I use have enough laser power to do permanent damage to your eye.
