Is it worth reading today? I am curious as to whether her ideas were selectively employed by the right and might actually be more complex, just as how has been massively misunderstood and misused. Love to hear any thoughts on this before I search for one of her books

@PSarkies I read "anthem" years ago and found it as clumsy, ideological and simple-minded as the critics make it sound. I had relatively few preconceptions because I wasn't familiar with Ayn Rand before, she's not as big a thing in Europe. After reading that book I was genuinely confused how such naive drivel can still have such influence amongst some in the US...
