The weekly US death toll from Covid is stable at 2290 per the CDC. Pro-rated, this is 100,000 to 150,000 deaths per year, the third highest cause of death behind heart disease and cancer. 1000 per week would be a relatively severe flu year.
Prorated, the weekly #COVID19 death toll has dipped just below 100,000 per year. It's still the third leading cause of death.

And that number only counts those who die from the initial infection. More than ten times that amount get long-COVID and some of those will hang on for months before they finally die and are therefore not counted in those stats.
It also doesn't count secondary deaths, such as loved one's who comment suicide in grief. The actual number is 50-100% more than what is reported.
Any deaths at this point are a crime -- literally, a crime.
