「美國海軍第七艦隊發布新聞稿說，勃克級導向飛彈驅逐艦貝瑞號（USS Barry，DDG 52）昨天依國際法例行通過台灣海峽，展現美國對自由開放印太地區的承諾，這是美艦今年第9度通過台海。
美國海軍勃克級飛彈驅逐艦紀德號（USS Kidd）和海岸防衛隊巡邏艦穆洛號（Munro）8月27日通過台灣海峽，為美艦第8度通過台海。前7次分別為2月4日馬侃號、2月24日魏柏號、3月10日芬恩號、4月7日馬侃號、5月18日與6月22日魏柏號以及7月28日班福特號。」
