新加坡藉機表態:
"黃永宏指出，每年全球30%的海上貿易經過南海。在海事方面，他強調維持以規則為基礎的秩序，並呼籲中國與東協國家加速完成南海行為準則協商。
他也表示，過去20年間，許多亞太國家紛紛加強海巡能量，目前海巡船艦數量已超過海軍艦艇，兩者間的誤判、失誤可能發生。例如，2020年，一艘越南漁船在靠近西沙群島的水域與中國海警船相撞後沉沒。
黃永宏呼籲，各國需要關注海巡與其他相關單位間的合作、協調，以確保避免這類事件發生。"
