果然還是要真正台灣人才會真心為台灣拚外交!
"根據紐約時報報導，雖然蕭美琴沒有大使的頭銜，而是台北駐華府經濟文化代表，她工作的地點不是大使館，而是「台北經濟和文化代表處」（TECRO），但蕭美琴是華府最有影響力的外國大使之一，在華府享有可以直通重要人物的內部管道，每天都會與拜登政府的高級官員通話，並與美國國會兩黨領袖保持聯絡，川普時期的白宮國安顧問波頓（John Bolton）曾說「在所有國家駐美代表中，台灣的外交代表是最令人印象深刻的一個。」
美國多年前一直禁止前幾任台灣駐美代表拜訪白宮和國務院，但現在蕭美琴已經是華府國會山莊的常客，會定期拜訪白宮和國務院，華府智庫德國馬歇爾基金會的中國問題專家葛來儀（Bonnie Glaser）也證實「蕭美琴確實得到華府這些人的信任。」"

“總統府晚間發布新聞稿，總統府發言人林聿禪表示，蔡總統已正式任命駐歐盟兼駐比利時代表俞大㵢擔任駐美國代表，另由外交部政務次長李淳擔任駐歐盟兼駐比利時代表。”
