@cejjacobs @Sustainable2050 @Datagraver I found this on ourworldindata.com. The numbers are adjusted for inflation and show that disposable income grew 78% from 78-22 (no data outside this range). If we take the gas price went from 1.5 to 2€ it means that it grew 33% - so one could say gas is approximately twice as cheap.

@dangillmor Your posts made me think about my subscriptions. Wouldn’t it be fairer (and lower the barier to entry) for the supscriptions to end each month. You’d need to prolong it by clicking manually. More people would cancel for sure but also more people would subscribe and more importantly they would have immediate feedback about the quality of their service. And more people would subscribe - I don’t subscribe more because I have a fear of being locked in...

Klein included excerpts from letters in which he and Hilbert give priority to Emmy Noether for her results on conservation of energy in general relativity.

@ilikebrains I ride an Ampler- Estonian brand. I choose them for four reasons:
- light weight
- tracking app (not 100% satisfied, couple of times it didn’t work as advertised)
- belt drive (low maintenance and no dirty pant legs- but only if you don’t have hills on commute)
- looks like a normal bike
