If we want to prevent abuse, we need people who are brave enough to have hard conversations about why it happens. The Prostasia Foundation exists to bring those people together. You can join the conversation in our forum:

@nukie @ProstasiaInc They've been around for years, I'm not sure how much they care about actual rights and freedoms but anything that destigmatizes pedophilia is a good thing I guess

@Jazzy_Butts @ProstasiaInc >forum about child sexual abuse
>destigmatizes pedophilia
in what world?

@nukie @ProstasiaInc I've seen them say things like "attraction doesn't equal action" so I thought they were reasonable people but then I also saw other things that were throwing maps under the bus basically saying it's an illness and that's gross, they hadn't said any gross shit like that in a while so I thought they had corrected course :blobsad:

@Jazzy_Butts @nukie @ProstasiaInc They don't care that much about actual rights and freedoms. They're still a youth protectionist organisation, as all CSA prevention orgs are. The focus is prevention, nor liberation and empowerment.

The difference between them and other CSA prevention orgs is that they're supportive of anti-c folks and are slightly more sex positive, but that's it.

@ynnuc @nukie @ProstasiaInc Ugh that's what I was afraid of, so gross. So pick mes basically.
