How can we have such dumb people represent us? We are NOT a democracy, we are a constitutional republic. I am sure they would like a democracy, but that is not what we are.

You know she doesn't mean that literally, right? Everyone uses the word "democracy" to refer to the American system, including Republicans. If your most cogent defense of the filibuster is to nitpick about a senator's choice of words, then you essentially have no case.
@PsychoCod3r I am just saying she is a dumb ass. And I would agree also that most politicians are as well.
