Taustalla on elokuussa ratkennut oikeusjuttu, jossa Google tuomittiin määräävän markkina-asemansa väärinkäytöstä syylliseksi. Nyt harkitaan sitä, mikä rangaistus tuomiosta olisi tehokkain.
Ehdotetussa mallissa Android ja Chrome irrotettaisiin Googlesta omiksi yhtiöikseen tai mahdollisesti myytäisiin kilpailijoille.

The AI Act includes a debiasing exception to the General Data Protection Regulation's ban on using sensitive data (special categories of data). The EU considerably improved the text of the exception, compared to the first draft by the European Commission, adding several safeguards for processing sensitive data.
