正好想起来经济学人的一篇两年前的老文章。零工经济自由职业是未来大势所趋没毛病，但是不要拿这个去骗小学生脑子的煞笔。记得曾经做报表的时候看到的那些Freelancer都是什么级别的？G5大学计算机科学出身，LinkedIn的证书能滚好几行，做自由职业是因为正在读博，而且这人还是个女生。

对不起今天也觉得自己就是个笨比打工狗。

众所周知，vps（virtual private server）是基于虚拟技术的虚拟机，一个物理CPU可以对应多个vCPU。

这就是一个暗藏的坑点。
一个物理CPU到底能对应多少个vCPU呢？这是一个很迷的问题。

换而言之，购买vps就是一种抽奖过程。
IP是不是已经被GFW封掉了，最显而易见的抽奖。
vps物理机的负载如何，则是较为隐藏的抽奖。

CPU的性能可以简单的使用下面的命令进行测试：
time echo "scale=5000;4*a(1)"| bc -l -q
将vps上运行所需时间与你本地计算机运行所需时间进行对比，即可得到一些信息。

自建邮件服务器最终选择了mailcow方案，现在已经把两个我常用的域名迁移上去了。

因为我有多个域名，也需要图形化(Web)界面，所以剩下mailcow和mailu两个选择。（Poste.io PRO收费不考虑）

Mailu
PROS: 服务少，占用内存低
CONS: 文档不是很齐全，项目似乎进入了不活跃期

mailcow
PROS: UI精美，管理功能更加齐全，管理帐号与邮箱帐号解耦，鲁棒性更强
CONS: 服务相对多，占用相对内存多

权衡之下选择了mailcow，并且mailcow UI集成的邮件迁移功能(IMAP)使邮箱迁移更加方便

关于主机，我选择了Vultr，因为它能分配IPv6地址并且两个地址栈都可以手动添加 PTR 记录；虽然25端口默认封禁，不过似乎发了工单基本都会解除限制。（最主要是便宜）使用了$5的1GB内存配置，并且为邮箱专用，关闭可选的内存消耗的功能后是可以hold住的。

想来就很搞笑，其实我见过的不少声称中国人普遍素质太差，不适合搞民主的人，他们自己就各方面都不怎么好，如果非要讲歧视链，这些人就算不站在最底端，总之也高不到哪去。
想想小圣说过，人民自会追求幸福，统治者别去压迫他们就行了，而把幸福归功于统治者的民族必不能长久保持幸福。
他说这话的时候是十八世纪末，那时是中国的乾隆年间。当时的法国普通民众，素质能高到哪里去呢？
但那个年代，手握大权的26岁青年就有这种觉悟。
今天的某些人，脸往哪搁呢。啧啧。

I got it! It's the engagement stream model what's wrong with Mastodon! It was created to mirror Twitter, but it's become a toxic cespool.

You follow a lot of people, right? More so with the "follow back" unwritten rule, which turns your feed into an endless stream of random opinions, takes and rants, and some of them are boosted and were never intended for you in the first place.

And seeing an interesting post is like an invitation to engage, and a simple disagreement can turn into a shit fest where many people and up getting angry for boo reason - and sometimes one is at fault for replying without reason. Guess what, the world is full of people with a lot of negativity inside and these things are inevitable. So not only we have reply guys (mea culpa 😔), we have trolls, and nazis etc.

And we need to CUT IT OUT!

* Separate boosts. Have them in another section. Many times a boost was NOT meant for you.

* Add boost reactions so you can see what your friends (not followed - friends) are happy, angry or sad about.

* Add an option to forbid strangers from replying to your posts.

* Add a distinction between followers and friends.

* Circles. You need control over who you're boosting to. If you have a conflictive cis follower, don't boost to them a trans discussion!
