People there are struggling with winter temperatures and war news.
@Waldemar Here is a comparison of nighttime imagery few weeks before the war in #Ukraine in February, and now. I haven't explore the intrinsic variability not due to the war, but I think the difference is striking. The country is much darker now, towns are barely visible, which is at least partially due to the massive power cuts.

The main variability source is with the moon cycle I guess + clouds, but that doesn't follow the borders.
