I kinda wish mastadon wasnt anti-algorithm when it comes to your feed... The ideal, IMO, is that the user can pick whatever algorithm they want to effectively empower their feed and make discovery of new content better.

It's OK to talk about twitter and Musk on Mastodon (or any other social). What is happening is important and worth discussing. Do we really want a billionaire redefine the meaning of free speech just because he can? Have him actively silence any dissident voice while at the same time he sells himself as a free speech champion? Fuck that. I wrote my last tweet today and said goodbye to my 20k followers. @Waldemar Here is a comparison of nighttime imagery few weeks before the war in #Ukraine in February, and now. I haven't explore the intrinsic variability not due to the war, but I think the difference is striking. The country is much darker now, towns are barely visible, which is at least partially due to the massive power cuts.
