@andrutay I have seen it highly recommended you do NOT delete the account itself. That would be begging someone else to take on your Twitter handle and tweet on your behalf as you. I believe you can download your entire record, that's cool. And if you delete the app and refuse to use it, that's great. Just keep the @/handle for your own protection.

You are on my list of "Please dear god don't let her delete her namespace so some freakin' moron can post under her handle" people. I don't think you'd be able to recover it, and the damage would be ... don't wanna think about it.
@Romaq @andrutay yeah, I thought of that already. Because I *know* someone would grab it an imitate me in the worst possible way. It already (kinda) happened over there more than once, but then being able to grab the real handle would be… so… much… worse…
