This #question has probably already been asked before, but does anyone know how to use gifs in messages without having to download a bunch of gifs on my phone?

@AtheistIntelligence @DavBot @apps Tusky animated it fine for me... Android. Using Tusky, when I "add media" it gives me the option of other apps besides its default image browser. I suspect if you have a generic "gif app" it will just handle it for you, downloading from there site and tagged in their previews. Gify, maybe?

@DavBot

I *think* (but I don't know) that it would quickly download previews over the wire based on current tag, and I *think* (but don't know) that it simply in-line sends the full image AFTER downloading it to your phone from the site FIRST, which is not happy if you worry about data or are out of data coverage.

I'm not even sure if Gify has an app that does what I think it does. But it's worth a look. :)
