Thank you, everyone, for participating! @SETIEric got the right answer: the story I had in mind is the myth of King Minos and Pasiphaë. Pasiphaë is the daughter of Helios, hence the sun and the blond hair. The stars are supposed to represent magic: She cursed Minos so he couldn't sleep with mortal women because he would ejaculate snakes, scorpions, and millipedes.

But the story told by @Peronelle is such a good fit that I count it as a correct answer too!

Eric, Peronelle, let me know which story you would like to unlock! The list is here:

@AimeeMaroux @SETIEric @mythology @Peronelle @Virginicus @FleurFl @ElysiaMacht @Linda @lucycoatswriter @misfitkotld “Death was not a pleasant thing for those who die.” I certainly hope you’re wrong about that. This was a brilliant story, like something out of the ‘Director’s Cut’ of Ovid. Thanks for the chance to read it. I absolutely loved the detail of the grass and flowers growing out of her bed! And "In the underworld, nobody comes before the queen,” is, of course, hilarious.
