When workers voluntarily associate with each other in labor unions to improve their collective bargaining power, we can draw an analogy to the capitalist firm with multiple owners.

Each represents a decision by its participants to cooperate, rather than compete, with each other. Neither is intrinsically monopolistic.

If you oppose labor unions but not capitalist firms on the grounds that the former behaves like a monopoly or a cartel, then you’ve simply internalized the capitalist ideal of atomized, helpless labor. You cannot consistently and logically oppose cooperation between labor without opposing cooperation between capitalists.

NM cops were called to the home of an 82-yo disabled woman who told them her caretaker had guns and threatened to kill her.

This happened:

"You're a firearms guy?" an officer asked.

"Oh, yeah," Cardana said.

"Nice," the officer said.

"They're loaded. They're ready to go," Cardana said.

The officer said, "I like folks that have guns."

As the officers begin to say their goodbyes, she begs them to stay at the home.

The White House has condemned a comment by Elon #Musk on his social media platform X which appeared to support claims that Jewish people had been helping illegal migrants get to the US.
