You just watched every permutation of Republican obstruction: first, invoking the 2-hour rule; second, trying to deny a quorum; third, interrupting the vote with points of order; fourth, a general walk-out.

It shows how *desperately* Republicans want to prevent Americans from seeing what’s been going on between the right-wing billionaires and the gift-taking justices. It has to be really bad to trigger that barrage of procedural weapons.

The disconnect from reality exhibited by big business is breathtaking - ultimately that will be a literal statement.

It costs too much to go green, apparently.
No mention that it will cost everything if we don't, right now.

Where a government continually treats a certain group/groups as less worthy as humans, they should not control the food of that group, the houses available for that group, the security of that group. The US government and state/local governments within the country treat Black people and Indigenous people as not worthy of humane treatment; how can we trust them to respect our right to vote or even our right to life?
