It’s funny how, as you progress through college, they require you to write longer and longer papers. Then you get to the professional world and no one will read an email that’s more than 5 sentences.

The nerve of charging someone almost $100K a year for college and withholding diplomas for protesting is a motherfucking outrage.

9 #witnesses in the #criminal cases against #Trump have received significant financial benefits, including large raises from his campaign, severance packages, new jobs, & a grant of shares & cash from Trump’s media co.

If any benefits were intended to #influence #testimony, that could be a #crime.

The benefits have flowed from #Trump’s businesses & campaign cmtes, acc/to a @ProPublica analysis of public disclosures, #court records & #securities filings.One campaign aide had his avg monthly pay double, from $26k to $53.5k. Another employee got a $2M severance package barring him from voluntarily cooperating w/ #law enforcement. And one of the campaign’s top ofcls had her daughter hired onto campaign staff, where she is now the 4th-highest-paid employee.

These pay increases & other benefits often came at delicate moments in the #legal proceedings against #Trump. One aide who was given a plum position on the board of Trump’s social media company, for example, got the seat after he was subpoenaed but before he testified. 👀

Significant changes to a staffer’s work situation, such as bonuses, pay raises, firings or promotions, can be #evidence of a #crime if they come outside the normal course of business.

I'm also all in favor of ranked-choice voting. We also need voting rights laws with real teeth.

Many -- probably most -- Democrats are in favor of these election reforms.

Know how to get them passed?

Vote for Democrats. If we can get a trifecta in 2024, not only these reforms are on the table, but many others as well -- including Supreme Court reform.

You know how to NOT get ANY reform EVER? Don't vote, or vote 3rd party.

1. You need a TFR (total fertility rate) of 2.1 to maintain stable population (no growth, no shrinkage).

2. UK's TFR is 1.75, so shrinking ~15% per generation.

3. Which means, not enough workers to support the retirees.

4. Net-positive immigration is the only thing propping our economy up.

5.The UK *NEEDS* immigrants, or we're fucked.
