@dangillmor Or if NBC hadn't given him a prime time tv show for years.

Just a reminder that if New York law enforcement had been doing its job decades ago -- among countless infuriating what-ifs -- the world would have been spared his malign presence in the past decade.

"That’s good to acknowledge, and also: the harsh and sad truth that many folks need to hear is that Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas aren’t going anywhere, unless by their own volition or the unyielding authority of mortality’s sweet embrace."

I'd like to personally congratulate convicted felon Donald J Trump for finally winning the popular vote

If Alito thinks he has no right or ability to control his wife’s biased flag-flying at his house, why does he think he has the right and ability to tell other women what they can and cannot do with their own bodies?

Imagine a black man had a criminal history of even the most inane and victimless of felonies and ran for president.

What do you think the GOP stance on fitness for the presidency of felons would be then?

We don’t know yet how Trump’s conviction will impact the November election

We can be pretty sure of 2 things, though

1) Tomorrow, the RNC will report Trump’s biggest fundraising day ever, the media will run with that story, and no one will follow up if/when official election filings contradict it

2) A GOP-sponsored poll will show that Trump's conviction will not lose him any votes, and the media will run with that too

So now it's written into law record that the 2016 US election was illegally influenced by the winner. That seems like it should be a bigger deal than anybody is talking about.

He was found guilty because it was by the people.

Not the Supreme Court or an appointed ass kissing judge named Cannon.

The people will take care of him once and for all in November.

Because it's US.

#FuckTrump

Holy hell, #TuckerCarlson just said that #Trump would still win the election “if he’s not killed first,” & said that “anyone who defends this verdict is a danger to you and your family.”

Tonight I'm definitely opening up the weird bottle of wine from Macedonia that I got at Costco

Many of us are in Twitter exile. This Trump trial would have been easy to monitor 'properly' on the old Twitter, but here in exile, we had to do with curated content

You kept us informed almost like Twitter

When you hear Republicans calling the trial an “injustice,” or saying that it was a “political prosecution” or that the U.S. is a “banana republic”—

Remember that 12 ordinary citizens found #Trump guilty.

He was held accountable by a “jury of his peers,” which is how the U.S. justice system is *supposed* to work.

Donald Trump Makes History With Guilty Verdict

A single word rings out in a Manhattan courtroom as Donald Trump becomes the first American president convicted of a crime.

@samhenrigold the primary principle of the conservative project is that one class of people should be protected by the law and not bound by it, and everyone else should be bound by the law and not protected by it.

Woke means changing where those lines are drawn.

Prediction for tomorrow’s NY Times headline:

“Trump convicted of committing 34 felonies; here’s why that’s bad news for Biden”

ME: say the six words you know I wanna hear

HIM: convicted unanimously on all thirty-four counts
