• a dad of a handful of kiddos, married, living in Colorado.
• a Christian in the Anglican tradition, and suppose I'm an unaffiliated conservatarian.
• a reader, working through the great novels as well as easier/fun books and nonfiction.
• a card and board game player and am happily teaching more to my kids as they get older.
• short on free time. I enjoy a philosophical pipe as I read and/or reflect, and occasionally get my guitar or bow/arrows out to learn new skills.
• a software developer... and have been for a very long time, now in the world of APIs and cloud development (CRM/SFDC).
@SecondJon WELCOME from another newcomer top Mastodon, also a dad, Christian (Reformed but between churches right now, having recently relocated to a new state), and conservative (certainly not necessarily Republican, since the GOP ain't conservative anymore). A perpetual student of the #bible and always learning. Retired after 30 years in Fire Rescue, now working in South Georgia as a "wood chuck." That is, I chuck (haul) wood products between lumber yards and paper mills and such.

If you're looking, you could see if there's an ACNA Anglican church near you. Reformed, historical, Bible teaching. It's been refreshing for us.

@SecondJon ACNA. I'll look into it. Thanks! There's a tiny little dying Presbyterian (PCA) church about 40 minutes away, but the pastor is treating it like a mission church even though it was particularized (meaning it can stand on it's own) 4 years ago. There's a Reformed Baptist church about 70 miles away, and one apostate Presbyterian (PCUSA) church in town.
