I'm old, boring and out of touch with contemporary music but my daughters are going crazy for a young French singer, #ErzaMuqoli: can anybody suggest me similar artists (in genre and age) so that I can help them to expand their playlist (they do not and will not use #Spotify as their father hates surveillance capitalism and prefer human suggestion systems, aka friends and #fediverse).
Any language is welcome (English included) but I'd prefer to expose them to less mainstream (aka non-US) perspectives.

In Denmark we have this thing called MGP, which is essentially Eurovision but for Danish kids. You can find a list of the winners on Wikipedia, just go to the "Vindere af MGP" section and browse through it, maybe some of them are what you are looking for.
