When you’re late for school and they give you detention, where you sit for an hour and do nothing, it’s clear their goal wasn’t to make sure you learn but to make sure you obey.
it depends on the teacher and school. if you are a teacher you don't like your students late for your class neither.
I agree with that. Schools do not care about the teacher that much now. they put their students first because their parents pay money to school. Even sometimes students were rude to the teacher.
@Sphinx It’s unfortunate how powerless teachers are in public school. I never felt like teachers were my enemy, but I always felt like their bosses were.
