I couldn't really enjoy my qoto.org experience on tusky app 
On web client. It had a group section which looks really cool. Kinda reminds me of facebook.
But since i'm not into web app, i don't use it much (i like the idea. But i prefer using literal app).
Perhaps you can try PWA on your phone.
@Sphinx already did. But i can't seems to enjoy it
