The only trolling I see here is occasionally those fishing for a chance to hall monitor and provoke confrontation so they can express their inner rage at something. Anything. One thing Twitter taught many of us, eventually was: "don't take the bait."

"taught many of us" is an interesting phrase, because Twitter algorithmically taught (conditioned) millions to not only take the bait, but to spread the chum around even more.
@SpinozasHeresy Yes, true enough, but in this case, I meant the entire experience, over the years, became a series of adaptive behaviors to cope with the routine noise, trolling and ugliness. Rarely pointed out, that until Musk, it was actually improving. The overly broad moderation tools started working. Elmo put a stop to that, PDQ
I have to admit that I came late to Twitter and really never paid attention to it until I found that I could get pretty solid information about what was going in in Ukraine and Iran. The main thing I notice here is more of a laid back, nuanced attitude about "things". Twitter seems to have a lot of really touchy, short fusers that get played by these trolls.
