Um. Unless you’re using cash, when you use a credit or debit card to pay for stuff...they have all the information on you they need. Your cell phone is just another credit card and we’re all being tracked to market to us. Tempest... meet teapot.

dont listen to this guy, he has half a point and your cell phone is far more invasive than a credit card. dont get me wrong, credit cards ARE terrible. saying a phone is no worse demonstrates someone who doesnt understand smartphones or downplays what they do know.

but yes, technically all electronic accounts track you. and your phone is a nexus for all of that tracking, in a similar and non-identical way to how. you know your credit card doesnt have a motion sensor yet.

and yeah, credit card data can be linked to other kinds of data after the fact, but dont conflate different things in a ridiculous and pointless effort to get people to not care about their own rights.
