Heh.

I dont begrudge anyone looking for a new home, its just, Dorsey clearly created BSky as counterrevolutionary action in case Twitter ate itself.

The goal is top-down disruption of community.

And now its funded primarily by a blockchain / crypto bro.

Always beware the counterrevolution.

Billionaries build corrals.

Platform corrals. Nation-state corrals.

It's the only thing they know.

@vruz @hannu_ikonen

CEOs can build all the corrals they want, but in the end, humans build networks. Always have and always will. We are wired for it. And ultimately we decided if we want to live in someone else’s corral or in the network of our choice.

@SpinozasHeresy @hannu_ikonen

Not backed by any evidence.

I grant you that it's a noble thought, and I share the hope and the spirit, but it's never going to happen if people remain so complacent, lazy, and amenable to corruption.

I don’t disagree with you in regards to people being complacent. Living in a corral built by CEOs is easy. Human networks can be uncomfortable and unstable. However, the archaeological record contains plenty of evidence regarding the development and sustainment of human networks. Human networks are far more primal than global corporate networks. I’d be happy to provide you with evidence if you’re unaware of it.

@SpinozasHeresy @hannu_ikonen

True, at tribal scale. Unless you propose a global scale Holocaust, your "evidence" doesn't apply.

@vruz @hannu_ikonen

You have real concerns about complacency and laziness. Do you think that cynicism is complacent and lazy?

@SpinozasHeresy

I think that's ad hominem. To which my standard reply is fuck you and fuck off, ignorant idiot.
