@RollingStone

just another Republican virtue signaling about “personal responsibility”.

@futurebird @Johnmullinax

What if it turns out that the movement of time is the actual presupposition?

Some of the women in “today’s GOP” declaring war on the “Barbie” movie. I do believe irony is dead.

@Alan

Remember how the term “cultural relativism” became the right wing meme in league with “political correctness”and “critical race theory”? Cultural relativism was the nonstop Rush Limbaugh complaint for a good six months or so. That was the bullshit right wing meme that set the table for bothsiderism.

@Stoned_Deva_

personally, I think it was because his dinner parties were a little depressing.

Yes the constant meta (and Meta) discussion here is tedious, and often much worse, but one thing you have to realize is that this is not just a social network, it’s a left/progressive political project. And I don’t know how many left/progressive political orgs you’ve been involved in, but let me tell you, they are kind of known for endless, agonizing talk about process, factions, outside threats, strategy, grievances, etc. If you have a solution for that, you just might save the world.

Participants in American democracy sold their internet town square out to Twitter. Now they’re complaining about it falling apart and the detrimental effect on democracy?

In the immortal words of Colin Powell...”you broke it, you own it”.

@w7voa

this number is about as surprising as the likely fact that 70 million people probably clicked on a cute kitty cat video on Facebook.

@TomWellborn@universeodon.com

I guess it will be futile, at this point, to mention Elon Musk’s commitment to China’s “core socialist values”.

@JohnShirley2023 @SpinozasHeresy

There was news coverage for a while, but the story dropped and the dems moved on.

It would have behooved Democrats to keep Fox/Dominion THE talking point du jour in perpetuity. The repetition alone might serve to break the spell Fox maintains on the Republicans. Can you imagine the response from Republicans if CNN paid out close to $1 billion on a defamation lawsuit? Pubs & Fox would devote a prime time show to the subject for years!

@gratefuldread

I’m going to take a stab here. JFK was killed by Obama, with the cocaine, in the library.

Trump, as with the entire right, complain nonstop about “CNN, MSNBC, and the liberal media bias”.

That liberals are RADIO SILENT about Fox and the $1B Dominion settlement, which is an ACTUAL, REAL LIVE EXAMPLE OF MEDIA BIAS is as frustrating as my inability to touch my toes due to my big beer belly.

@AndyHarrison

“As an atheist, your lifestyle choices make me think you’re kind of silly. But as a businessman? Chocolate or vanilla? Extra layers are going to cost you, and please make the check out to the peoples bakery. Thanks for your patronage!”

@AmishSuperModel @SpinozasHeresy

Don’t get me wrong, but Hillary had some serious likability issues. She was also victim of relentless shit smears drawing a straight line from Rush Limbaugh in the 80s through to the Fox channel (and Putin) psyop email server. By then the stupid were primed and salivating for the Apprentice host. Funny how the only election conspiracy in this country is being run out of the right wing media. None dare call it treason.

@AmishSuperModel

If Democrats and Obama stood up to Mitch McConnell, Merrick Garland would be on the court and someone else would be in charge of the DOJ prosecuting Donald Trump. Not sure you can blame Hillary hating on this one.
