Absolutely! Please don't get me wrong on this. Not saying gay=Nazi. I just find it fascinating how authoritarians of all stripes seem to be self-loathing hypocrites completely incapable of self-awareness.

@lcrw Did Alex Jones just out Nick Fuentes? Nick’s always seemed self-loathing/closeted to me.

@Euan_MacDonald So glad we don’t have a “fifth column” of churches in America. That would be so anti-democratic.

@rvawonk RW-ers are so convinced that everyone hates "the other" as much as they do that chaos will automatically result in a "race war". The only people waging such a thing are RW-ers against the rest of us. The rest of us know exactly who the problem is here.

A day without coffee is like…nah, ain’t gonna happen.

@jmaxsfu @jmaxsfu Thank you for posting this. I’ve had a similar sentiment lately. The most effective way to propagate the early internet was to have venture capital build out the infrastructure. We’re now at the point where capitalism has built out the “super highway” and netizens have unfortunately only settled in a few walled cities (Google, Facebook, Twitter). The walls are crumbling, the natives are restless, and there’s plenty of real estate out there. Let’s go!

@noorkiramat @conradhackett try focusing on the vertical lines. The circles are sitting between the squares.

@RollingStone I’m sure Brittany’s skin color and sexual orientation have nothing to do with Madame speakers criticisms.

@grammargirl “Smoke on the water” when l’m packing the bong?

File under useless historical comparisons and statistics: Pundits keep repeating how this is the first time since 1934 that Georgia has had two democrats in the Senate along with the presidency. Weren’t the Democrats in 1934 the party of the Klan? How is this comparison even worth noting?

@HuffPost “Brutal beat down” is the best example of the Clickbaity attitude that drives Twitter. No thanks.

Hello, Mastodon! My #introduction: I've worn a lot of hats in my life, but right now, I'm agitating and organizing for the democratic populist rebellion as I approach my 80th (!) year of life here in Texas. I've been the Ag Commissioner of Texas, editor of @TexasObserver, a NYT best selling author, a radio show host & a podcaster, and more. Also: beer fan & foodie. You can win me over with a solid, local IPA and good eats any day of the week. ✊

@pburke46 Ringo: “John…I think that’s Jesus…he looks pissed”.

@Lowie@universeodon.com @awescar Fish! Plankton! Protein from the sea!
