Our western myths gloss over that the first transcontinental railroad was financed and subsidized by federal and state governments. We forget westward expansion was fueled by the Homestead Act (free land). Rhode Island District Court denies a preliminary injunction against large capacity magazine ban finding that they are not "arms" within the plain text of the Second Amendment.
