Where was I..? Right: reciprocal space. It's here, and it's awesome, and proudly shows off the diffuse scattering from highly correlated defects that I was so looking forward to seeing 
I promised, I'd better deliver: here's some porphyrinic MOF crystals fresh from synthesis, ready for beamtime. Real space picture; the reciprocal space one will follow if they behave under some nicely coherent X-rays

Whilst I'm on #introductions, I'm also an author. Never thought I'd say that, but here we are.
I wrote "Managing Your Mental Health During Your PhD:A Survival Guide" because I struggled during my own PhD. I felt worthless and experienced a range of emotions, feeling suicidal at times, and wanting to quit. So I decided I wanted to create a resource for others that might be struggling.

Looking at my 3 followers made me realise it's introduction time! I'm Stefano, postdoc researcher in atomic structure analysis of materials and their aperiodicity 
now based in Germany. Entering my world means lots of mesmerising patterns, metal-organic frameworks and crystallographic allucinations, but also my two cents on supporting students and researchers in STEM struggling with the darker sides of academia
