@kittybecca@masto.jews.international I don't want to rule anyone. Most people here don't. But, I vote centerist for those reasons.

Zionism has many different flavors- and a lot of people like to focus on that hard line, and absolutely colonialist vision of zionism.

Personally, I believe that I am the aboriginal, indigenous people to this reason and I'm going home. That I have as much right to be here as anyone else.

I also do feel that a Jewish state is important from a survival stand point. The world has proven time and time again that it can't be trusted to protect it's Jews. Europe, the US, everywhere- the Jewish people must protect themselves.

Is Israel as it exists now the right choice? I can't say for sure. I live here now. I needed a way out of the US- and I do what I can here to make this country what it should be. I'm active in politics, I'm out there helping people on the streets where I can.

I don't have all the answers, for sure, but my life has been improved by living here (Largely because I have easy access to healthcare. That's like 95% of it, easy.)
