Been watching a lot of Imperator: Rome play-throughs on YouTube. Looks like an interesting game with a lot of management opportunities.

I've heard a lot of people say a mix between EU4 and Crusader Kings 2.

I think that's fairly apt, but it doesn't really emulate either experience 100% as near as I can tell from watching others play. That is a good thing, as it creates it's own experience that is unique to that game.

I feel like there is a little bit of Victoria 2 rolled in there, especially with how into governance and policies you seem to need to go. Victoria 2 is not a game I played- but again, watching playthroughs seems to have a lot of management aspects in regards to economy, and relationships.

Anyways, it is shaping up to be an interesting game to watch, at least. Not sure if I'll be buying it or playing it myself simply because I'm really not into playing that kind of management game. At least not when it's historical.

That's why I love Stellaris so much, though.
