I don't think anyone has ever noticed this movie mistake.

At the end of Spider-Man (2002), Mary Jane Watson knows that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. She encourages him to keep being a hero by saying, "Go get 'em, tiger", INSTEAD of the much more logical, "Go get 'em SPIDER".

So either there was a huge typo in the script, or we're supposed to believe that MJ has no understanding of the differences between arachnids and mammals! It makes NO sense!

@Toonces In the comics, 'Tiger' is MJ"s pet name for Peter. It's a tie-in / promotion of 'canon', as the fans like to call it.

Originally in the comics, MJ didn't know PP was Spider-Man (they changed / added it at some point; I have no idea when).
