Dissidents that the state and state collaborators labeled as perverted (more or less) in order to get the public to turn against them.

1. Julian Assange
2. Jacob Appelbaum
3. Richard Stallman

Who will be next?
4. Ai Weiwei????
*No because, for the moment, he is an asset so long as he is critical of the Chinese Communist Party

@TheGnuMaster uff, wish i could remember well what i read/saw about these cases..
1. Julian Assange, _at least_ issues with him would never have been brought up if he was not heading wikileaks. And maybe it didn't happen at all..
2. Jacob Appelbaum is probably just guilty of his claims.
3. Richard Stallman, had pretty awful positions of pedophilia but was convinced otherwise.
Also, his attitude is generally bad. Maybe it's better if he's replaced, wish he could move on to something better.

@TheGnuMaster 4. Ai Weiwei, you're comparing something that is fundamentally different. The guy is mostly not in the culture that produced #MeToo Agree that the media would not care to report on it much.

In general i suspect you're calling regular people "state collaborators", many of which infact hate the state as it is. (or even hate the idea of states, period..)

@TheGnuMaster this article predates the Appelbaum case, existence of those tactics does not imply those are in play here. Accepting "boogieman did it", you can dismiss any evidence..

Keeping down accusations creates an secretive atmosphere also more conducive for infiltration.

There are plenty of people who came forward geekfeminism.wikia.org/wiki/Ja including someone studying for a PhD cryptography at TU Eindhoven, and a developer for Tor based in Germany.
