Ukraine has arrested 32 million Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH) belonging to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, in accordance with sanctions. The funds are from the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant, Ukraine's largest producer of metallurgical alumina and aluminum hydroxide. The investigation revealed that the plant was privatized in 2000 by Deripaska's Rusal holding, one of the world's largest aluminum producers.
