The animals that have been born in the Kyiv Zoo since the start of the full-scale invasion have grown up in the photo. These new friends include lemur Bayraktar, born in early March, baby muntjac deer cub Mia, little bison Varta and Viking, beautiful alpaca Luna, and a calf of highland Scottish cattle named Dormund. The animals are kept warm, provided with everything they need, and surrounded by care, so they form families and groups and bring joy to visitors with their offspring. In total, 300 new residents were born in the Kyiv Zoo in 2022, in addition to the 400 animals that were rescued from the war and are spending the winter in the zoo. The ticket offices of the zoo are open every day from Monday to Sunday, from 12:00 to 15:00, and visitors can stay on the territory of the zoo until 16:00.
