The Security Service of Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigations have revealed that the leadership of the Central Military Medical Commission of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has been taking bribes from those trying to avoid mandatory military service under martial law. Evidence was found of a conscript being extorted for USD 5,000. During searches of the suspects' workplace and home in a private sector of the capital, law enforcement officers discovered large amounts of cash in various currencies, totaling more than UAH 5 million.
