The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has revealed that officials of the Ministry of Defense have embezzled more than 5 million Ukrainian hryvnias during the construction of barracks for the military in the Mykolaiv garrison. Additionally, the deputy head of the Central Military Medical Commission of the Armed Forces Medical Forces has been notified of suspicion; the investigation has revealed that he issued certificates of unfitness for military service for money, according to the SBI.
